İlhan Ozan

İlhan Ozan is a curator, researcher and writer based in Istanbul. He received his Bachelor’s in Sociology from Marmara University and his Master’s in Philosophy and Social Thought from Istanbul Bilgi University, where he conducted his dissertation research on the relationship between art and politics in contemporary practices. Taking the background from social sciences and humanities, his interdisciplinary approach to art practice has been shaped from the perspectives of sociology, philosophy and art history. His field of interest consists of philosophical perspectives on art and aesthetics, art and politics, social change and culture, and historiography. He is a regular contributor to the artist-centered online publication m-est.org. He is currently working at SALT, Istanbul.
