We are thrilled to invite you to ArteEast’s 21st Anniversary Benefit, celebrating over two decades of commitment to elevating the voices of artists of Middle Eastern and North African heritage, engaging with US and global audiences. This year, we are proud to honor Hadieh Shafie, Watermelon Pictures and Celine Semaan whose missions align with our core values. The evening will feature delicious mezze, drinks, and an exciting lineup of performances by Haleh Liza Gafori, Nour Harkati, and a DJ set by Yelda Ali!

Also, check out our accompanying 21st Anniversary Benefit Auction on Artsy’s online platform from November 6th to November 20th. Over 70 artists from across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA) have generously contributed their work in support of ArteEast’s mission.

Proceeds from the benefit and auction will help sustain our organization’s diverse programs, showcasing bold and groundbreaking work that connects communities through art, film, and critical dialogue, fostering a deeper understanding of the MENA region, its culture, and its people in all their nuances and complexities.

If you can’t join us in person, please consider supporting us with a donation or by purchasing an artwork. And don’t forget to spread the word! Despite challenges and funding cuts, ArteEast has sustained its steadfast dedication over the years, thanks to the support of our community. Your care and generosity is what make our work possible!

Please note that the ground-floor venue has a half-flight of stairs at the entrance, which may limit accessibility for those requiring ADA accommodations.

ArteEast is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
