Sundaram Tagore Gallery Panel Discussion

Saturday, March 4th, 10am-1pm
Sundaram Tagore Gallery, 547 West 27th Street
Please join us Saturday, March 4, for brunch and a timely discussion about contemporary art in the Middle East and North Africa. We’ll be talking about the need for open borders to broaden the global audience and the unique voice and cross-cultural identity of artists who have been uprooted due to conflict in their countries of origin.

This event is being held in partnership with ArteEast, an organization dedicated to deepening global arts engagement with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa. The panel discussion will be led by Sumeshwar Sharma, curator at Clark House Initiative, Mumbai, and will include Iraqi artists Wafaa Bilal and Ayad Alkadhi and Syrian artist, AFP Fellow and ArteEast Artist in Residence Rashwan Abdelbaki.

Kindly RSVP to rsvpny@sundaramtagore.com.
