Alya Sebti is an independent curator and art consultant specialized in Maghreb and Middle Eastern contemporary art. Following a master in management at l’Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Reims, she studied art history at l’Ecole du Louvre and post graduated in Contemporary art market at l’IESA. In 2009, she worked at the fair office of Paris Photo. From 2009 to 2011 she was head of international contemporary art in the cultural holding AhM where she worked as exhibitor’s manager of the Marrakech Art Fair. For the 4th edition of the Marrakech Biennale she participated as specialist of contemporary art in Morocco and manager of Parallel Projects. Recent and future curated exhibitions include : Fashion Loves Tribe (Berlin 2010), Youssef Nabil solo show (Casablanca, 2011), Urban landscape (Grid, Amsterdam, 2012).
